The Preschool: The Faith, Hope & Love Child Care & Learning Center
The Springs of Living Water having the mothers and single parents desiring to work
in mind, formalized and established the Faith, Hope & Love Child Care & Learning
Center. It aimed to provide a safe and nurturing place for children of mothers who
have been trained under the Job Enhancement Training Programs and parents
especially under Welfare who are ready to go out and be assimilated to the
workplace. A start-up capital for the preschool was provided by Atherton
Foundation, Samuel N. & Mary Castle Foundation and the Bank of Hawaii. The
Preschool was duly licensed by the Department of Human Services, the Department
of Health and the City and County on March 24, 2002 to operate and   admit 45
children of ages between 2 to 5 years old.
School Philosophy
The Child Care and Learning Center was established with the premise that each child is unique and special, regardless of race,
color, nationality, religion or ethnic origin and deserves a warm and caring environment in which to learn. Together with the
home our common goal is to build a good and strong foundation for each child's future.  We believe that children learn by doing
and imitation.  Through our Christian values, good example, dedication and love for each child, we hope to have a positive effect
on their attitude  towards learning and life.
Program Goals
Our goal is to enhance the development of readiness skills through our learning materials in an enriched learning environment; promote
family involvement through program activities; encourage the development of creativity; all of which help to build a successful
foundation for early leaning.
